The Song of Ice and Fire has come to an end, and it's time to start thinking about the store as a whole. How does The Iron Throne tie everything up? Does it deliver on the promise of a decade of revolutionary serial storytelling? Kev and Joe discuss.
The series finale of Game of Thrones is here....but is it the ultimate satisfying conclusion to EVERYTHING? Kevin and Joe like what they see, but there's plenty to discuss, and perhaps a few cards still left on the table. How does the series finale stack up, and what's next for the podcast? We've come to an ending, and we still know nothing.
This is it: the last battle, and the end of many roads. So much devastation, so much loss. But like most things in Game of Thrones, who is good and who is evil isn't as black and white as it seems. Tough decisions are made, but are they mad? Are they evil? And how will this series wrap up? Kevin and Joe discuss it all.
This is the penultimate episode of Game of Thrones, and so many characters meet their fate, for better or worse. Lots of payoff for fans, including the much hyped Cleganebowl and the sack of King's Landing. On this episode of We Know Nothing, we get teared up in the Jaime and Tyrion goodbye, discuss whether Danaerys is mad or not, play devil's advocate and try and see it from Danaerys' point of view, and just hate on Euron as much as we can. Wildfire be damned: A song of ice and fire is going red this week.
Kevin and Joe sit down to cover all the lengthy discussion and debate raised by Game of Thrones season eight episode four episode "The Last of the Starks." As the Long Night ends, new alliances and divides form. Who will come together, and who will go against each other as the series winds down? The mettle of each will be tested before long, but one truth will remain, we will still know nothing!
This is IT! The long night comes, and it does not disappoint! As armageddon approaches, questions still remain. Is Jon immune to dragonfire? What's the deal with Melisandre? What about Bran and the Night King? And will anyone ever figure out if the wolves mean anything after all? We've seen the episode, but we still know nothing! Join us for the greatest episode of the greatest Game of Thrones of all time!
Is the rightful queen actually righteous? We’ll have to see, if there is an after. But in the meantime, everyone at Winterfell chats, gets closure, says their peace, and crosses a few things off their bucket list.
The stage is set for the end of the world, and all plot threads end at Winterfell. Or do they? On this episode of We Know Nothing, Kevin and Joe discuss the potential for what comes AFTER the battle with the Night King, if anything, Does anyone really care about a metal chair anymore? We know nothing, but even that sounds ridiculous at this point.
Seven hells, make sure you've watched "Winterfell" before listening, ya?
We Know Nothing is back for the final season of Game of Thrones! Kev and Joe look back with a lot of laughs at the past 595 days, provide an update on The Winds of Winter, and then dive into the first episode of Season Eight, "Winterfell." Keep in mind, the episode title was not released at the time of recording, so forgive our ignorance. We hit record immediate as the credits run!
A huge, tense episode just happened. So much was confirmed. So much hap-DID YOU JUST SEE THIS EPISODE! Stop reading and hit play already! There's a lot to discuss.
Wow...just wow. Just when you think Game of Thrones couldn't get more stunning, they release "Beyond the Wall." Heroism, tragedy, and even a little devious plotting made for an amazing episode, and that's before the flaming swords, zombie bears, and that shocking ending. We fanboy out at an episode we loved, and definitely tell the naysayers where to go. We don't know much, but we still know nothing when it comes to getting too nitpick-ey with an episode of TV that's as audacious as it is historic.
Avengers assemble! Lots of things happened in "Eastwatch," and the action has never moved faster! Our heroes are all over the continent and making major moves in the Great Game, and all eyes are (finally) beginning to turn North. Meanwhile, major revelations are "hammered" home, and we've come closest ever to seeing a dragon smile. Send a raven, and let everyone know We Know Nothing!
Holy Geez. DROGON! BRONN! JAIME! The cave! The Spoils of War may have been the shortest episode of the entire series, but it may have also been the best. In addition to a record breaking action sequence, this episode had some extremely satusfying reunions, fantastic moments between Jon and Danaerys, and a duel between Arya and Brienne that was super overshadowed. Kevin and Joe talk about it all!
Remember: we want your emails! Send in your theories to email@example.com.
The connections keep showing up and Game of Thrones has never moved faster! Kevin and Joe tear through all the exciting events of "The Queen's Justice" and more, and even get to a few theories and emails. No matter what, however, we still know nothing!
Lots happened in Stormborn, and we're digging into it all on this week's episode of We Know Nothing! From theories on the dragons to the Clegane of Thrones bowl, we are going places you're not going to hear on any other Game of Thrones podcast. Plus. more GRRM news, the proper pronunciation of Aenys, and forgetting the name Harrenhal! Winter may be here but we still know nothing. Enjoy!
Winter is here, and with it comes the Long Night and a new episode of We Know Nothing! Join Kevin and Joe for an in-depth look at Game of Thrones S07E01, "Dragonstone," plus a ton of catch-up and commentary along the way! Shall we begin?
This is it! The season finale of season six did not disappoint at all, and for all the satisfying action and conclusions, it feels like the stage is merely just set for the great war to come. And oh, what a war it will be, if all of this has been truly prelude to it. From Cersei's plan to Jon's parentage to Bran's hypothetical duder accent upon his return, this was an amazing, cinema quality episode of television, and Joe and Kevin break it all down scene by scene. Apologies if there's a little coughing, Joe's been sick and we wanted to make sure you got this as soon as possible!
Whoa. Wow. OMG. Yeah. Battle of the Bastards redefined hand-to-hand medieval battle on film. We explore the monumenal episode scene by scene and start making predictions for next episode and next year.
